I would like to know how many men on here have run into SCAMMERS...i've only been on here a few days and its unreal how many women have approched me that their english was so broken that you couldnt understand them...lol...i know a lot of the scammers are from ghana...but geez come on now...

Scammers could be sitting next to you as your write, they could be neighbours even friends. they are not necessarily from ghana or nigeria; there are plenty of home-grown creeps up to the task. Being vigilant and never handing over any very personal information is how to avoid them. Even if you fall in love, still do not give any information away until you have met and are sure and even then be careful.

Scammers (who are actually men operating in Internet cafes in Nigeria and Ghana) love any dating site that is free to sign up and which doesn't require answering lengthy profile questions.
They are getting better and better over time at the English.

I'm a very real, single woman. But because I don't pay for membership, it's impossible to reach me:( It's easy to get tired of the scammers and game players on these sites. Hope you guys find what you're looking for!

no, they are on all the sites- including christian singles sites. you can usually tell them by the broken english. a good way to smoke them out is...if they say that they are living in sioux city, iowa, for example, is to do a quick google on the town and say - "hey! i have an aunt that lives there and i will be visiting her in a month! good time to get together!" most times they will say "umm well ...i am away now, on a missionary trip to africa, or some such nonsense. then, rat them out to the site administrators. i hate scammers.

Yes,I think there are a lot of scammers here.They get rid of them fast.Unfortunately,I think they are drawn to this site for some reason.Maybe because it is a age-gap site.Good luck in finding someone sincere.
